I spotted an advertisement on-line for a Vehicle Auditor and joined the company. I quickly found that this was a job I was going to enjoy. I have always loved working with people and consider customer facing skills are essential for building up a good rapport with the dealerships. Basic skills, such as a sense of humour, patience, consideration, flexibility, whilst retaining a firm professional approach, all help. The nature of the company enabled us to do so. I enjoy the flexibility of the work. I like the responsibility of organising my own schedules, meeting new people, etc. There is plenty of variety. As the company has developed over the years, it has moved on from totally paper-based auditing to the SMART phone enabled software solution. Now, there are more clients and a much greater variety of audits, so that now I cover Cars, Commercials, Motorcycles, Construction, Agricultural and Marine. I consider myself fortunate to be in employment, which is both interesting and fulfilling.
